Story
Three friends (Rajendra Prasad, Sivaji and Jagapati Babu)
vexed with their wives (Raasi, Sanghvi and Oorvasi respectively)
decide to take a mass suicide. But they end up saving a businessman
(Kota) who was also attempting suicide. These guys help the
businessman in straightening his business and earn good salary
to support their families. But they suffer with an after-marriage
problem. Their wives does not allow them to have sex. Oorvasi
is highly devotional and spends her days with vratams. Raasi
is a busy lawyer and she is more dedicated to her work than
her family life. Sanghvi is a hotshot TV actress and she is
more interesting in making love to the camera than to her
husband.
At
this juncture, the businessman is confronted with another
problem. His foreign returned daughters (Sony Raj, Swapna
Madhuri and Sonali Joshi) are too fast for him to make them
agree for an arranged marriage with the sons of his close
pal. These guys throw an idea to businessmen that he should
employ three good-looking guys and make his daughters fall
in love with them. After that guys could ditch girls so that
they get back to their dad to ask forgiveness and accept his
proposal. Businessman asks these three friends to do the roles
of lovers. These friends attract the girls and when its time
to ditch them, they found it too discouraging as they were
offered five-star luxuries by the businessman during that
time.
What
happens when these three greedy friends double cross and turn
foes to businessman?
Artists:
Heroes:
Jagapati Babu did justice to his role of a wife-loving guy
who cheats upon her. But his image of family man did not gel
well with his characterization. And his characterization is
not having clarity and appears confused. Rajendra Prasad is
seen on big screen after a long time. He did pretty well.
He should have given a lengthier role. Sivaji impressed in
this film. He has pretty good comedy timing and his characterization
and dialogues written to him make him more impressive than
other two heroes.
Heroines:
Having six heroines in a film and giving description for each
and everybody performance is a difficult task. The wives got
fairly good footage and girlfriends got very short roles.
Its refreshing to Sanghvi on Telugu screen after a long gap.
She is pretty slim.
Others:
Kovai Sarala did well as a loyal maid to the wives. She evokes
lots of humor. Brahmanandam appears in a small role.
Technical
Departments
Story
- screenplay - direction: Story of the film is good.
Screenplay of the film is average. Taking of this film is
slightly inspired by that of 'Kshemamga Velli Labhamga Randi'.
Muppalaneni Siva tried his best to make this film a mass comedy
one. He partly succeeded in it with the help of situational
comedy and dialogues by Chintapally Ramana. But there should
be more punch and force in comedy.
Other
departments: Dialogues by Chintapally Ramana are good
and are comedy oriented. Music by Koti is mediocre. All the
songs, except one, are canned on at least three heroes and
three heroines. Most of the lyrics are situational and gel
well with scenes.
Analysis:
This film starts off on an interesting note. First half of
the film is okay. But the film lost its steam in second half.
The climax is a clichéd one. But there is occasional
situational comedy and few good comedy dialogues. You (comedy
movie lovers) might watch this film once when you are bored
with usual work.
