Story
Kota is a widower and has got two sons- Venu and Chandra Mohan.
Chandra Mohan is married ten years back, but could not make
his wife pregnant. Kota is worried about the 'vamsoddarakudu'
for his family. Hence his main goal in the life is to get
Venu married to a beautiful girl and make him give birth to
a son.
Venu
consults an astrologer about his future. The astrologer professes
that Venu's future wife dies if she gives birth to kid. Venu
knows that his father aim is get a grandson. And Venu does
not want to make an innocent woman die in the process.
For
that reason, Venu keeps on postponing the marriage. As the
fate has it, Venu weds Sruthi Raj under a compulsory circumstance.
Venu avoids the first night and refuses to have sex with his
wife.
The
rest of the film revolves around how Venu's wife gives birth
to a kid! If you want to know how EVV tackled this comedy
film without missing sentiment, you must watch this film on
the silver screen.
Performances:
Venu:
If he has done the role of lover boy in his first three films,
he played the naughty husband in this film. Venu is an improved
artist now. He has an inherent weakness while expressing emotions,
as his eyes are small. His dialogue delivery and mannerisms
are good enough to tickle you in the comedy scenes.
Sruthi
Raj: She imitated the histrionics and mannerisms of Ooha
(of Aame fame) in this film. He did well with in her limitations.
In the songs, she dared to bare her skin with scant cloths
in the luster locales of abroad.
Technical Departments:
Screenplay
- Direction: EVV has perfected the art of timing in the
comedy scenes. You can see plenty of such comedy scenes in
Veedekkadi Mogudandi. This film is another EVV film that has
carefully mingled sentiment with comedy.
Comedy:
There is ample comedy in the film performed by the comedian
artists like Kota, Brahmanandam, Ali and Chandra Mohan. It's
a typical EVV branded comedy with a tinge of vulgarity. Ali's
get up as the 'Indrajit' and Brahmanandam's get up of 'Chandrakanth'
are very impressive.
Music:
The songs of the film are OK. But the background music of
the film is very good. The song 'Paalu Kavala Paravalu kaavala'
is the highlight of the film. Koti has done a good job.
Dialogues:
Dialogues in the film are witty. These are also crude at times.
Analysis:
The movie starts off very well with Kota introducing his family
to the audience. The movie goes on the comedy mode since then
and never makes the audience feel bored. First half of the
film is good compared to the second half. This is a 'must-watch'
film for all the EVV movie lovers. We got to wait and see
if this film becomes a hit or backfire like 'Thank You Subba
Rao'!
