This is
another love story, but for a change deals with responsible
love and happy ending. The parents of the young man Kiran
(Uday Kiran), all the while encourage him to get the girl
Sandhya (Richa) he loves. Kiran proposes to her during Holi
festivities, and Sandya suggests that his parents should speak
to her parents.
A computer
institute, run by Giribabu, friend of Sandhya's father (Chalapati
Rao), serves the breeding ground of love.
The film
opens with Kiran's parents - Chandra Mohan and Kavita - celebrating
Valentine's Day, followed by lot of love flowing from every
scene, Kiran-Sandya's romance begins during a bus journey
but her father arranges her marriage with another man. On
her wedding day, when Kiran offers there, Sandya expresses
her helplessness.
But as
the 'muhurtham' time draws close, she becomes bold and takes
a decision. The climax is poorly etched.
The fight
scenes and comedy bear no relevance to the theme. Sunil is
the main sidekick of Kiran, among his half-a-dozen other friends.
Uday
Kiran and Richa get stereotyped roles. The pair, most of the
time, keep staring at each other.
Chandra
Mohan and Kavita play the love crazy parents of Kiran, while
Chalapati Rao looks more dignified.
Music
is partly situational, with folk touch. Dialogue lacks the
spirit of the subject. Most of it mechanical and bland.
