                    About
                    the film

After portraying high voltage emotional roles in the big hits,
                    "Samarasimha Reddy" and "Narasimha Naidu",
Balakrishna dons another power-packed role as Durga Prasad
in the untitled venture of Sri Balaji Art Creations.

The technical team and star-cast that featured in the above
two films have been retained by producers J. Bhagawan and
                    D.V.V. Danayya.

                    B. Gopal had directed the earlier two ventures. Now, his disciple
Ramprasad will be wielding the megaphone.

Simran has paired with Balakrishna. Rima Sen completes the
triangle. The film, nearing completion, has just finished
                    its weeklong schedule at Visakhapatnam.

Says director G. Ramaprasad, who shot to fame with his debut
film, "Chirunavvutho", "In the backdrop, there
is no doubt a factionist feel. There is a vast difference
in the canvas compared to Balakrisha's earlier movies. Our
film revolves mainly around crime and punishment. He punishes
the guilty. And the rule is applicable to the hero himsellf.
Playing with fire is his passion. Human relationships and
subtle sentiments form and interesting part of the theme."

"The action sequences are thrilling. In one of the scenes,
Balakrishana has performed a stunt of jumping 40 feet down
a flyover at a busy junction in Hyderabad, in which he carries
a message to the hospital. Action director Kanal Kannan has
directed another stunt scene amidst waterfalls. And in Ahobillam,
Kurnool, the hero jumps off helicopter in the precincts of
                    Sri Lakahmi Narasimha Swamy temple.

"Besides these, the film has a pleasant musical score
                    by Manisharma."

"If a did not risk the stunt scenes, myself, the viewers
would surely miss the authenticity. I found Ramaprasad talented,
even while he was working as an assistant to B. Gopal. He
understands me, and my emotions well. This adds to the success."

Veteran Tamil director P. Vasu makes his debut as an actor
in Telugu, and dons the role of a villain. "Incidentally,
I was the director for Balakrishana's first film as a hero
('Sahasame Naa Oopiri'). And today, I Telugu films with him
as the hero. As a villain, I have a key role to play in the
                    film."

The producers say that they have shot three songs in the exotic
locations in New Zealand on the lead artistes - Balakrishan,
Simran and Rima Sen. "We will be completing the movie
in the next schedule, and plan to release the film during
                    Pongal."
