                Interview
                  with Anita Udeep:
Idlebrain.com has spoken to the director Anita Udeep about 'Knock
Knock I Am Looking To Marry' (KKIALTM) . Here is the information
                  we extracted from her
                What
                  is 'KKIALTM' all about?
A contemporary romantic comedy that takes a refreshing view
of the dilemmas and predicaments faced by the 'now' generation
caught in a struggle between the traditional arranged marriage
scenario and the modern phenomena- the 'love' marriage
                What
                  is the budget of 'KKIALTM'?
The budget of 'KKIALM' is in between 80 lakhs to 85 lakhs. I
am putting in my own money to make this film.
                The
lingo used in trailer reminds me of Hyderabad Blues? Did you
                  watch that film?
Yes. I did watch Hyderabad Blues. As Hyderabad Blues highlighted
the cultural difference between NRIs and Hyderabadis, 'KKIALTM'
shows the difference between thinking patterns of two generations
                  (parents and kids).
                Where
did you shot this film and where are you releasing it?
I shot this film in Chennai and Bangalore. We are releasing
'KKIALTM' on 26th of December in Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore
with 3 prints. In Hyderabad, this film is releasing in Prasads
                  Multiplex.
                Tell
                  us about your singing?
I am a singer and I learnt Carnatic music as well. I did a Tamil
pop album titled 'Munangal'. I also sang a popular song titled
'Whistle' for a Tamil film which brought me lots of recognition.
                How
old are you? Where did you complete your graduation and what
                  does your hubby do?
I am 25 year old. I completed my graduation in Electronics and
Communication Engineering in Venkateswara in Chennai. Later
on I did 3 years masters in Film and TV production at LA. My
husband manages numtv.com that is into broadband services on
                  internet.
                Did
your formal film education helped the making of 'KKIALTM'?
Yes. It taught me film grammar and how to be more creative while
                  making films.
                Do
                  you have songs in 'KKIALTM'?
Yes. We are planning to release a sound track that consists
of 7 songs. These songs are condensed into 1 minute bit songs
that help the narration of film. I am following the USA release
pattern where movies are released first and sound tracks are
released later. We are promoting this music heavily on SS Music
channel. It consists of youth based music.
                What
                  is the duration of film?
Its one and half hour film
                Which
one is difficult - direction or production?
Production is more difficult than direction.
                What's
                  your future plans?
I am eagerly waiting for the release of 'KKIALM'. I want to
                  make more films
