Okkadu, which was one of the biggest hits in Mahesh Babu's career, is going to remade in Hindi. Boney Kapoor has bought the remake rights and his son Arjun Kapoor is going to play the lead role. The cast and crew will be finalized shortly. Gunasekhar had directed Okkadu, which released back in 2003. The film worked wonders for the careers of all the lead actors in the film including Mahesh Babu, Bhumika and Prakash Raj. In the past, Mahesh Babu's Pokiri has been remade in Hindi as Wanted and now Okkadu has joined the list of remakes in Hindi.
