The distribution rights of Prabhas' upcoming film Rebel have been sold at a whopping price in most of the areas in Andhra Pradesh. However, the biggest surprise is the price which it has got for its theatrical release in Tamil Nadu. Buzz is that Rebel has been sold for Rs 33 lakhs in Tamil Nadu, which is a new record in Prabhas' career. His previous film, which was released in Tamil Nadu, was sold for just Rs 11 lakhs. The presence of Raghava Lawrence and Tamannaah has made a big difference, since both of them are well known in Tamil film industry. Moreover, in recent times, films like Dookudu, Gabbar Singh and most importantly, Rajamouli's Eega have done extremely well in Chennai and other areas in Tamil Nadu. Rebel stars Prabhas, Tamannaah and Deeksha Seth in lead roles. J Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao have produced the film. Raghava Lawrence has composed the music, apart from directing it. The film will release on September 28.
