Year 2007 blockbuster Happy Days completed 100 days recently. The 100 days function was organized in a grand style on the night of 12 January 2008. Dasari, NTR and Brahmanandam attended this function as chief guests.

Speaking on the occasion Sekhar Kammula said, “we started the film with new cast and had corporate tie-ups. It was released, became a hit and ran for 100 days. All my films have Saraswati. But this film Lakshmi Devi too followed.”

Chief guest Dasari said, “Sekhar Kammula proved his sensibilities with films like Anand and Godavari. He made his third film with new comers though he had offers from stars. Though it’s a youth film, it attracted movie lovers from all age groups. I predicted that this film would be a great hit during the release time. And it turned out to be true. I came from Delhi to attend this function.”

Brahmanandam said, “Sekhar Kammula is an intelligent director. He belongs to the same league of Bapu, Viswanadh and Bala Chandar.”

NTR said, “I saw Happy Days 15 days after the release. It is a feel good film. I could identify my school and college days. There were times when I followed girls and failed to attracted them. I got Happy Days through Yamadonga film last year. I am sure that my current film Kantri will also run for 100 days. I loved ‘Padametu pothunna’ song. I welcome all new comers of this film to Telugu film industry.”
