The triple platinum disc celebrations were held at Mega theater in Dilshuk Nagar in the night of 8th August. This function was graced by Venkatesh, Gowtam, Harris Jayaraj, Kula Sekhar, Ravi Prakash, Srinivas, Vamsi, Umesh Gupta, Siva Raju, Venkat Raju and Asian Sunil.

Director Gowtham and music director Harris Jayaraj thanked the crowds in Telugu for making Gharshana a hit. Actor Ravi Prakash made the crowds sing the 'Chelia chelia' tune.

Giving a brief speech Venkatesh thanked the Telugu film movie lovers for encouraging all the different roles he has done so far in films like Chanti, Bobbili Raja,Ganesh, Preminchukundam Raa, Pellichesukundam, Malliswari and Gharshana. He mentioned that Gharshana had brilliant execution by the director Gowtam Menon supported by the fantastic music by Harris Jayaraj.
