Surya's dubbing film Ghazani is doing well at box office now. The openings are fabulous and the talk is positive. Producer Madhu arranged an appreciation function to the hero Surya and director Muruga Doss at Club Jayabheri tonight. This function is attended by KC Sekhara Babu, Aswini Dutt, Arjuna Raju, Gemini Kiran, Allu Arvind, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, Devi Vara Prasad, Dr. Venkateswara Rao, VV Vinayak, Karunakaran, editor Anthony, dialogue writer Shashank and Allu Arjun.

Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao said, "I know director Murugadass since the days of Ramana (Tamil). He also participated actively in story discussions of Tagore (Telugu version of Ramana). I know Surya since he was a kid as he stayed near Nutan Prasad's house in Chennai. He has Telugu features in his face."

Hero Surya said, "I am feeling lucky to have worked with director Muruga Doss. He is a simple and hardworking director. He goes to the public places like parks and beaches to get ideas and write scripts. Ghajini is a result of very good team work. Muruga Doss always strive to be on top by not only making successful films but also making films that are recognized and appreciated by film connoisseurs. Allu Arvind gave a huge launch to my film in Telugu and Ghajini is drawing very good crowds here too. I would also like to thank Chiranjeevi for appreciating my performance in Ghajini."

Presented Allu Arvind said, "I would like to thank the media for promoting the film so well. We had just a gap of 3 weeks for releasing the Telugu version and without the help of media, such an openings were not possible for Ghajini. Muruga Doss is an intelligent director. He would make Stalin film a record-breaking one with Chiranjeevi acting in it. We liked Ghajini so well that we wanted to remake it in Telugu. I asked Muruga Doss if he can remake the film. He said that he can create such a beautiful creation only once. That is the reason why we dubbed it in Telugu. In the early days of my career I dubbed a film titled 'Bangaru Pathakam'. It took a film of Ghajini caliber to dub in Telugu after such a long gap."

Allu Arjun said that editor Anthony and cinematographer Rajasekhar who worked for Ghajini are working for his 'Happy' film now.

The director Muruga Doss did not say a word as the producer want to save his talk for the promos of the film Stalin.
