Audio of Raja Sekhar's Aptudu was released at Lakeview Guest House by Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr. YS Raja Sekhara Reddy on 8th October morning at 9 am. Akkineni Nageswara Rao is the recipient of the first audiocassette. The other celebrities who graced this occasion include Tikkavarapu Subbirami Reddy, Jeevitha and Anjala Zhaveri. Speaking on the occasion veteran actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao commended the charity work being done by Raja Sekhar very consistently. Raja Sekhar sponsored the heart surgeries of 10 needy children on this occasion.

Ramana Gogula scored music for this album. Aditya music has bought audio rights. Muthyala Subbaiah directed Aptudu. This film is slated for the release on 22nd October on the eve of Vijaya Dasami.
