The music of Bujjigadu (made in Chennai) featuring Prabhas, Trisha and Mohan Babu was launched at Andhra Club, Chennai on the night of 18 April by Rajnikant. Prabhas, Trisha and Priyamani also graced the occasion. Sandeep Chowta scored music.

Speaking on the occasion Rajnikant said, “I knew Puri Jagan when he directed the debut film of Sivaraj Kumar (son of Kannada matinee idol Raj Kumar). At that time Raj Kumar said that Puri Jagan would become a great director in the future. Puri Jagan also directed the launch of Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja’s film Chirutha. If I had a son, I would have introduced him in Puri Jagan’s direction. I am very choosy about attending public functions. And the producer KS Rama Rao requested me to unveil the audio at my residence. It was my suggestion to have this function at Andhra Club. I am sure that Bujjigadu made in Chennai will become a huge hit.”
