Audio
of Krishna Vamsi - Prabhas combination film 'Chakram'
was released in a special audio function organized
in Ramanaidu Studios on the night of 28th February
2005. The program started with a pep talk between
Jogi brothers, who traveled through the songs of all
11 films directed by Krishna Vamsi so far. Later on
comedians (Brahmanandam, AVS, Venu Madhav, Chitram
Seenu & Srinivasa Reddy) ragged music directors
with tricky questions.
The
highlight of the function is none but the way lyricists
Sirivennela and Chandra Bose explained the lyrics
and the thought process that has gone into writing
them. Lyrics of three Chakram songs were discussed.
Jagamanta
Kutumbam: Krishna Vamsi got inspired by these
lyrics so much that he decided to make 'Chakram' film
based on this poem. Sirivennela wrote this poem in
1977. This song gives an analogy between Ravi (sun)
and Kavi (bard). This poem was written in free style
without considering the structure and formats of movie
lyrics as Sirivennela penned in much before entering
films. Sirivennela often used to call Krishna Vamsi
as 'Thikka Vamsi', because of the crazy ideas he get.
Oke
oka mata: This song says that we are alone when
we come to this world and we are alone when we leave
this film. While we stay in this world, we tend to
get in harmony with many people who are also alone.
This song also preaches universal love. It also elucidates
the openness in humans. Sirivennela wrote the lyrics.
Naa
peru Chakram: This song is written by Chandra
Bose. This song is pictured on Prabhas and kids. It
shows how Prabhas gets close to kids by talking in
this language and making them understand about achieving
goals with nice words.
Sirivennela
released the audio and distributed it to fellow unit
members. Aditya bought the audio rights of Chakram.
Krishna
Vamsi kept a low profile during this audio function.
This audio function is celebrated in a pleasant way
by not following the regular methods.
