Devi Sri Prasad came out of his signature songs to compose rocking tunes for Jagadam film. Jadagam music is fresh, new and racy.
Audio of Ram’s (Devadasu fame) second film Jagadam was released at a function arranged in Prasad labs on the morning of 20 January. It was like a family get-together where only the unit members of Jagadam unit did the honors. Devi Sri Prasad and Ratnavelu (cinematographer) unveiled audiocassette and CD respectively.
The unit members Jay (Focus puller), Chari (manager), DT Srinivas (Light boy), Sayilu (driver), Eeswar (set assistant) and Venu (production boy) unveiled a song each from the album. Giving utmost importance to these unit members, director Sukumar explained how these people contribute towards the success of the film.
Speaking on the occasion Chandrabose came up with a bond paper on which he signed that the music of the film is going to be bumper hit. He also spoke about the variety lyrics he gave for ‘5 feet 6 inch’ song.
Another lyricist Sahithi said that he penned two item songs for this film. He also mentioned about the Muddante Cheda remix song which is done with Arabian tinge to it.
Director Sukumar said, “There is a lyricist, choreographer and editor in music director Devi Sri Prasad. If we convince him with the situation, he is capable of coming out with the best music. We do connect with each other very well. Chandrabose came up with fabulous lyrics. Ram is like ‘Allavuddin Adbhuta Deepam’ (genie) for any director. Isha did well.”
Music director Devi Sri Prasad said, “It was Ratnavelu who was persistent about me working for this film. Sukumar came up with fabulous ideas and situations for the songs. Jagadam music has a great lyrical value. The best in my career. I would give the credit of music success to lyrics. Sukumar is a perfectionist. Engineer Uday Kumar worked hard to make sure that music is fantastic.”
Producer Aditya Babu thanked all technicians and unit members for their efforts.
