Music of Naga Chaitanya’s debut vehicle Josh was launched at a grand function organized in Shilpakala Vedika on the night of 18 July. ANR, D Rama Naidu, Kiran Kumar Reddy (speaker of AP Assembly), Nagarjuna, Mohan Babu, Bala Krishna, Venkatesh, Srihari, Nitin, Nikhil, Ram, Sushant, MS Raju, Varun Sandesh, Amala, Radha, Naga Chaitanya, Karthika, Sandeep Chowta, Vasu Varma, Rajamouli, Ambika, Seenu Vytla, Boyapati Seenu, VV Vinayak, Vamsi Paidipalli, Dasarath, Srivas, Chandrabose Sameer Reddy, Kishore Kumar, KL Narayana, D Suresh Babu etc attended the function as guests.

Sandeep Chowta who scored music for Ninne Pelladatha and Super composed music for this movie.

Kiran Kumar Reddy launched the CD and gave it to ANR and D Rama Naidu (grandfathers of Naga Chaitanya). K Raghavendra Rao launched the audiocassette and gave the first unit to Bala Krishna, Venkatesh and Mohan Babu.

Radha said, “I am here today because my daughter Karthika is making her debut as heroine in Telugu films. I am happily married with three kids. I did two films with ANR and Vikki Dada with Nagarjuna in the past. I wish that you would encourage my daughter the way you encouraged me. I saw Naga Chaitanya when he was 2 years old. I feel that Naga Chaitanya is like our own family member. Karthika is fond of dances since childhood. I would like to thank Dil Raju for introducing my daughter.”

ANR said, “Naga Chaitanya is the 6th actor from Akkineni family. When Nagarjuna wanted to introduce Naga Chaitanya, I told him that there would be many expectations on his because he is the grandson of ANR and D Rama Naidu. Dil Raju has a golden hard and he is entrusted with the responsibility of doing this grand launch. I listened to the songs. There is rhythm as well as melody in it. I want to participate in 100 days function of Josh.”

Mohan Babu said, “ANR is a cultured man. When I wanted to invite him to a function of mine, he said that i needn’t invite him in person. He came with just a phone call. When i asked Nagarjuna to do a guest role in Adhipati, he asked me if i liked that character. He came and worked for the film when i said that i am convinced and satisfied about the character. I would like to appreciate, congratulate and bless Naga Chaitanya that is coming from such a nice cultured family.”

Bala Krishna said, “I share Babai – Abbai relationship with ANR. And I am here as a Babai to Naga Chaitanya to bless him. Nagarjuna generated a special craze for him. Likewise, Naga Chaitanya too will chalk a special path for himself in the industry. There is a healthy and heavy competition among the new generation of heroes and I am sure that Naga Chaitanya will win it. I didn’t know that heroine in this movie is daughter of Radha till i came to this function. I also realised that Dil Raju sang a song for this film. I wish this film a huge success.”

Venkatesh said, “I Hope that this movie will be like mixing the acting Nagarjuna in Shiva with mine in Chanti.”

Karthika said, “I am born and brought up in Mumbai. I am fond of dances since my childhood. My parents asked me to act in films. I request you to encourage me like you did for my mother Radha. I feel happy to act in Naga Chaitanya’s debut film.”

Dil Raju said, “I approached Naga Chaitanya to play the lead role in Kotha Bangaru Lokam. But Nagarjuna opined that KBL is not the right film for the launch of Naga Chaitanya since it was a soft story. He wanted to launch Naga Chaitanya with a joshful film. Director Vasu Varma worked over this story for three years and Nagarjuna Okayed this story in a single sitting. This film will be releasing in August. Josh film will give third hattrick on our banner. The director forced me to sing a small song in this movie. Vasu Varma is a good director and I learnt a lot about scripting from him. Sandeep Chowta gave brilliant music. It took me two months to get close to Naga Chaitanta. Naga Chaitanya is a brilliant actor and he performed a 320 feet emotional scene in a single take. Siddharth did a 350-feet climax scene in Bommarillu in single take. Karthika did a bubbly character. I am 100% confident of success.”

Nagarjuna said, “My father ANR’s wish is to see Naga Chaitanya as hero. I told ANR that he would be watching 100th film of Naga Chaitanya as well. And Naga Chaitanya will be acting in 200th film of D Rama Naidu. I wanted to produce this film. At that time Dil Raju approached me with Josh subject. Dil Raju and Vasu Varma treated Naga Chaitanya as their own brother. I saw first half of the movie and liked it. Dil Raju saw the entire movie and loved it. Being grandson of two legends ANR and D Rama Naidu, i wish that he would become a greater actor than ANR. I completed my engineering before entering films. Naga Chaitanya wanted to enter movies after intermediate. I asked him to complete degree and made him go through B.Com. I would like to request all my fans to encourage Naga Chaitanya.”
