The music of Ram’s latest film Maska was launched at a function organized in song set erected at Rama Naidu studios on the night of 25 December. Dasari launched the audio CD and gave the first unit to D Rama Naidu. D Suresh Babu launched the audiocassette and gave the first unit to the main leads of Maska.

Speaking on the occasion Dasari said, “Ram is the most energetic hero among the youth heroes. MS Raju formed a very good team to make this film. I knew him since he was a kid. I directed MLA Edukondalu which was produced by his father in 1982. I stopped attending the film functions. But could not refuse when MS Raju and B Gopal invited me. I feel that producer the king in film industry and everybody should respect him. The producers should have grip on movie making. Lots of money is being spent on the budget, but most of it is not reflected on the screen. I wish B Gopal a big success with this film.”

Hansika Motwani said, “Ram is a thorough professional. Each and everybody in the team worked hard. My first film Desa Muduru has Chakri music and I am happy that he scored music for my film again. I worked with two Telugu films earlier and I feel that MS Raju is the most comfortable producer to work with.”

Music director Chakri said, “I had been dreaming about coming music for Sumanth Arts for the past 7 years. It is like dream come true. I gave innumerous tunes and choices to the producer. There are six terrific songs in the film. I liked Jhansi character in this film and she uses Nellore slang.”

Paruchuri Gopala Krishna said, “A new story writer Surya is providing story for this film. The story forms a strong foundation for the film. Maska will have mass elements and romantic episodes. Sunil has donned a big character in this film after Manasantha Nuvve. Brahmanandam comedy is going to entertain. We did 7-month treatment for this film. B Gopal directed mass films like Indra and Samarasimha Reddy and mass entertainers like Bobbili Raja. This film belongs to Bobbili Raja genre.”

Sunil said, “I got the satisfaction of working for 10 films with my character in this film. I did a lengthy character. Ram performed dances well.”

Ram said, “I did a short film at the age of 13. MS Raju saw that and gave me an offer. I am happy to act in MS Raju’s film now. B Gopal is a terrific mass director and he is very calm in person. Paruchuri brothers involvement for this film is terrific. Though my two films were college backdrop films, I just had a canteen scene in Devadas and a fight scene in Ready. Kandikonda penned lyrics for all movies. One song was shot in Italy.”
