Hero
Venkatesh released the audio of Premiste at a grand
function arranged in Shilpakala Vedika. This film
is a Telugu dubbing version of Tamil blockbuster produced
by famous director Shankar. This function was attended
by lots of film personalities.
Venkatesh
released the audio and gave the cassettes to Allu
Arvind, Rama Naidu and EVV Satyanarayana. D Rama Naidu
oversaw the felicitation of Shankar with the help
of priests.
Director
Shankar said, "Kadal is my first film
as producer. I do give full credit of the success
of this film to the director Sakthivel. Though it's
a love story, this film has got nice tempo and rapid
pace. I am feeling proud to have produced this film.
Bharat is lucky to get such a sympathetic character.
Sandhya has done terrific work. I was disturbed for
3 days after seeing her performance in this film.
Her performance is the best after Saritha's performance
in Maro Charitra film. Songs of the film also came
really well."
NV
Prasad said he bought the dubbing/remake rights
of Kadal first. He was bit doubtful about the climax
of the film. But the climax of the film itself is
the highlight. Since the feel would go away if this
film is remade, he decided to dub the film. But when
Santosham Suresh requested me to give him rights,
he could not say no. He is also distributing Premiste
for Ceded area now.
All
unit members also spoke on this eve in brief.
The
cultural programs were excellently presented. Rakesh
choreographed songs from Shankar's films. Ankita,
Tanu Rai, Jyothy, Madhu and Navneet Kaur performed
to those songs. Sunitha and Simha rendered songs from
Shankar's movies. Chandu and Keerti did comedy skit.
Later on trailers were exhibited on the screen.
The
