NTR’s latest film Rakhee in the direction of Krishna Vamsi was launched at a function arranged in Taj Residency. This function is done in a variety style with no speeches.

Devi Sri Prasad performed for the song ‘Rangu Rabba Rabba’. Actress Mamata Mohan Das sang a song in this film. Devi Sri Prasad and Mamta Mohandas performed for another song.

Kavya, Veda and Sandhya released the audiocassette. Kavya and Veda are daughters of producer KL Narayana. Sandhya is the daughter of producer and cinematographer S Gopal Reddy. These three girls tied Rakhi to NTR on this occasion. When asked Ileana and Charmme to choose a dear person, they selected S Gopal Reddy and KL Narayana respectively to tie the Rakhi.

NTR released the audio CD and gave the first unit to Mamata Mohan Das.

Giving a brief speech NTR said, “I was personally at a very bad stage during the release of Narasimhudu film. It was KL Narayana and D Suresh Babu who bailed out me. I would be indebted throughout my life to them. When Krishna Vamsi narrated me the Rakhi subject, I imagined my mother and my five cousin sisters. I could able to connect to the story. That inspired me to accept this film. I hope that Rakhi would give wonderful results.”

Dr. KL Narayana gave vote of thanks.

Along with Rakhi audio, there will be a free Rakhi. Each cassette will have a Videocon scratch card and the lucky winners will get gifts from Videocon. Supreme music bought the audio rights.
