Aditya Birla Group's entertainment wing 'Applause Entertainment Pvt. Ltd' is making its foray in Telugu with a straight film titled 'Tapana'. Audio release function of Tapana is arranged in a grand scale at Taj Krishna on 22nd December. You have laser shows and dazzling display of fire crackers on this event.

The celebrities who graced this occasion were Jaya Prada, Sonali Bendre, Azharuddin, B Gopal, SV Krishna Reddy, YVS Chowdary and Tammareddy Bharadwaja. The main cast of this film includes Prabhu Deva, Siddardh (introducing), Maahi, Seema and Archana (introducing). Tejas Dhanraj - an award winning TV serial director - is making his debut through this film. Sambhu Prasad provides music.

The team of Applause Entertainment Pvt Ltd (AEPL) - elegantly dressed in black suits - graced to this event. Speaking on the occasion Anshuman Swamy - CEO of Applause Entertainment - said Applause Entertainment is into movies, TV shows and visual effects. They have recently completed 10 shows on national level TV channels. AEPL has provided visual effects for Lord of the rings (Return of King). AEPL is currently producing two Bollywood projects - Dev and Black. Dev sports Amitab Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor and is being directed by Govind Nihlani. Black stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukharjee and Nandana Sen. Black is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali (his project after Devdas).

He described Tapana as the emotional saga between 5 characters. Mr. Swamy said that they are negotiating with the like minded producers, technicians and actors to partner with.

Jayaprada and Sonali Bendre released the audio of Tapana together. Sonali said that it an honor to be at the music launch. Aditya produced the audio of Tapana.
