On 2nd May, popular South Indian film star Jyothika attended the inauguration function of 'Swarnapurnam' scheme (loans for buying Gold) that is being offered by Andhra Bank to the customers of Kirtilals Jewelers. Andhra Bank would be giving loans up to 2 lakhs for an interest rate of 10.5 percent per annum which need to be repaid in EMIs over a maximum period of 60 months. A fashion show was also arranged on this occasion with models wearing the jewelry of Kirtilals.
