Rajiv Kanakala-Sindhu Tolani combine movie on Joshika Sai Lakshmi Films banner is titled as "Poison". The logo is launched today at 7 Acres, Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad, where the unit is engaged to brisk shooting schedule. The flick is directed by Phaniraj and produced by D. Ramesh Babu. A media briefing was arranged to detail about the progress of the film. Earlier, producer Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) unveiled the logo and wished good luck to the "Poison" team.

Rajiv Kanakala said: "The logo for this film as Poison was suggested by Suhasini. All of us, the entire film unit, have found it very apt going by the script. Director Phani Raj handled the script very professionally and inspired us in a big way, prompting us to give our best. It is a murder mystery. Each and every character has its merit and remains important to the film."

Sindhu Tolani said: "I am excited to be working with a much disciplined team. We were thrilled when Suhasini came out with an apt title like Poison. We all appreciate her. Director Phani Raj left no stone unturned to hoist the best possible technical values with some of the best artistes."

Suhasini (who plays one of the heroines) thanked producer Ramesh Babu, director Phani Raj and hero Rajiv Kanakala for their immediate acceptance of her suggestion for the title as Poison.

Ramesh Babu said: "So far we finished 75% of the film shoot. Three songs and climax fight is remaining. Cinematography is going to be a major highlight. We are planning to release the film by November end."

The cast includes: Mumaith Khan, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Nagendra Prasad (brother of Prabhu Deva), Vijay Samrat, MS Narayana, AVS, Srinivasa Reddy, Geetha Singh, Melkote, Vasu Inturi, Sattenna and others.
