Muhurat of Naveen's latest film Naa Oopiri was held at Annapurna studio on 1st December 2004. This film has Sangeeta and Juhi (introduction) as female leads. It is an extraordinary love story of a normal person. Kanmani who worked as assistant director for 12 years in Tamil film industry is directing this film. He also worked for Tamil blockbuster Gemini. Krishna - who worked as an assistant to Santosh Sivan - is handling photography.

Director Kanmani said that he is thriving to make a masterpiece out of 'Naa Oopiri' film. Vadde Naveen described his character as a different one with substance. Sangeeta said that her character has different shades.

Relangi Narasimha Rao sounded the clap board. EVV Satyanarayana directed the first shot. Vadde Ramesh switched on the camera.
