Muhurat of Naga Chaitanya’s second movie in the direction of Gowtam Menon was performed at Annapurna studios today morning. Manjula and Sanjay produce this movie on Indira Productions banner. AR Rahman composes music and Manoj handles camera. Anthony edits the film and Rajeevan is the art director.

Three iconic families of Telugu cinema (Akkineni, Ghattamaneni and Daggubati) joined their hands to make this movie.

Krishna sounded the clapboard, ANR switched on the camera and D Rama Naidu directed the first shot.

Krishna said, “I am feeling very happy today. I became an actor with the blessings of ANR. ANR was the first film star I saw in person while I was student. I produced a couple of films on Padmalaya banner with ANR like Hemahemilu and Rajakeeya Chadarangam. Though I didn’t produce a film with Nagarjuna, I acted with him in Varasudu movie. I feel happy to produce a movie with Naga Chaitanya as hero. I wish a great success for his first movie Josh and his second movie in my daughter’s production.”

High standard movie with great production values - Manjula
Manjula said, “I would like to thank Nagarjuna first. I did films only with Mahesh Babu so far. I would like to honor the faith bestowed on me by Nagarjuna by producing a high standard movie with great production values. This story is very apt for Chaitanya. Naga Chaitanya is an young sweet boy and I am sure of this movie’s success.”

Trendsetter like Geetanjali - Nagarjuna
Nagarjuna said, “Naga Chaitanya’s second movie is launched even before the release of his first movie. I wanted to produce his second movie. In the process Manjula met me and narrated the story. I loved the story. Naga Chaitanya wanted to do a movie with Gowtam Menon even before he became an actor. This film will be a trendsetting and different film like Mani Ratnam’s Geetanjali. This film will be a special film in the career of Naga Chaitanya. I am very glad that AR Rahman is composing music. There are many positive points for this film. Gowtam Menon said, “It is a feel good movie. I am doing movie with the heir of two big movie families. There is lot of responsibility on me. We are planning to cast a new heroine.
