Muhurat of this film was held at Annapurna studios on 11th February 2005. Dasari Narayana Rao sounded the clap board and D Rama Naidu switched on the camera. The celebrities who made it to the function include KS Rama Rao, KL Narayana, MS Raju, Bellamkonda Suresh, EVV Satyanarayana, G Ram Prasad, LP Raju, KC Sekhara Babu and Burugapally Siva Rama Krishna.

Kodi said that he is feeling happy to reunite with Raja Sekhar. This combination of Raja Sekhar and Kodi Rama Krishna delivered blockbusters like Ankusam in the past. This film would have situational songs scored by Koti. He is feeling happy to work with another protégé of Dasari like Sagar.

Rajasekhar said that he had plans of acting in a film directed by Sagar. Now he is acting in a film produced by Sagar. Raja Sekhar said that the hero of this film going to be subject (script). He saw Malayalam Runway for 5 times and is immensely impressed with it. His character in this film would have shades of Ashok charater in Ahuti film.

Producer Sagar said that there are lots of dimensions to hero character. Story of this film has very big span. Namitha (of Gemini fame) is acting in a Telugu film after some gap. Shooting of the film would be completed in a single schedule by March end. The unit would shoot songs in abroad in April. This film would be released in the month of May 2005.
