Muhurat of Srihari’s latest film Sri Mahalakshmi was held at Ramanaidu studios on the morning of 15th December. This film is a remake of a Malayalam blockbuster ‘Chintamani Cola Case’. Fight master Vijayan is doing direction. Santha Kumari (wife of Srihari) is the producer.

Irrigation minister Mareppa sounded the clapboard. Pawan Kalyan switched on the camera. VV Vinayak directed the first shot and Kanna Lakshmi Narayana performed Pooja.

Speaking on the occasion Srihari said, “After Hanumanthu I waited for the right script. My films are watched by certain section of audiences. I want ladies to watch my films. That is the reason why I titled it as Sri Mahalakshmi. There will be 9 women villains in this film. I am doing the role of lawyer Lakshmi Krishna Devaraya. Regular shooting will start on 27 December and will be completed in a single schedule.”
