Muhurat of Sravanthi Ravi Kishore's film with Sumanth as hero was held today morning at Annapurna studios. This film is a remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Thirumalai'. Ramana who directed Sravanthi's earlier film 'Ela Cheppanu' is directing this film. ANR gave the clap. D Suresh switched on the camera and Vijaya Bhaskar directed the first shot.

Speaking on the occasion, filmmaker Sravanthi Ravi Kishore said that the regular shooting of this film would start on 24th of this month and would be shot on in a single schedule at a stretch. Unlike earlier Sravanthi Movies, this film would have more action orientation. This film would have six songs. Two songs would be shot in abroad. Heroine Kousalya is doing a vital role in this film. Heroine of this film is yet to be selected.

Hero Sumanth said that he was supposed to do a film for Sravanthi Movies earlier (Nuvve Kavali). He said that this film is going to have tremendous team work. He said that few changes were made in the script and expressed his opinion that the Telugu version would be a bigger hit than the Tamil original. He also said that its an apt film for director Ramana.

Music director Koti said that two tunes are composed for this film so far and he is looking forward to score different tunes for this film.
