Sridevi Nekkanti who produced an unreleased Telugu film titled Apuroopam with her cricketing brother Madhukar and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra in the main leads has opened a plush salon called 'Paris International Salon' (PIS) on Road No. 2 of Banjara Hills (beside Sabdalaya theater) on the evening 13th May 2005. Cricketer VVS Laxman inaugurated this salon. The guests who made it to this occasion were Minister Shabbir Ali, Srikanth, Rohit and Arzoo Govitrikar.

Tie up with L'Oreal cosmetics
Speaking to press Sridevi said that 'Paris International Salon' is a five star salon, which is going to be maintained with lots of hygiene. This salon uses all disposable equipment to order to maintain hygiene. This Salon has exclusive tie up with L'Oreal cosmetics.

Biggest Salon in India
Sridevi said that PIS is the biggest salon in India with facility spreading over 5000 square feet that has two separate sections for men and women. It cost her Rs. 1.3 crores set this up. This salon also does bridal makeup, film and portfolio makeup. The price range of services in this salon starts from Rs. 20 to Rs 5000/-. PIS not only cater to rich, but also to the middle class people with reasonable pricing. The timings of this salon is 7 am to 9 pm. PIS staff consists of 30 trained employees.
