Platinum disc function of Jagapati Babu’s latest film Pellaina Kothalo was arranged in Usha Mayuri theater on the night of 21st January 2007. This function was attended by Jagapati Babu, Priyamani, Madan, Lakshmana Rao (Sudarshan Films – Nizam), Jhansi, Hema, Agastya, Vennelakanti, Chaitanya Prasad, Purushottam (theater), SurenderReddy, Mahendra, T Jagan etc.

Mr. & Mrs Krishna who watched this film twice presented the unit with platinum discs. Speaking on this occasion Jagapati Babu said, “Youth is a big bonus for this film. This film fared really well for Sankranthi season. This film is doing pretty well in USA too. Lots of people are coming forward to remake this film in various other languages. I would like to thank everybody who made this film a success.”
