Dil Raju’s latest film Aakasamantha is being shot in Ramoji film city today. Prakash Raj, Trisha and Jagapati Babu are acting in this film. Here are the excerpts of the press meet –

Prakash Raj said, “I narrated this story an year back to Dil Raju. We shot this film in Telugu and Tamil languages. We released the Tamil version last month. It is doing well out there. Ganesh Venkatraman acted as hero in Tamil version. This film is made on human relations. The balance part of the Telugu version is taking place now in Ramoji Film City. I produced the Tamil version and Dil Raju is producing the Telugu version.”

Dil Raju said, “I saw the double positive of this film when I was doing the postproduction of KBL. I liked it and shown it to my business partners. They also liked it. I asked Prakash Raj if I could take up the Telugu version of it. This is the first film in which my involvement was not there in story. We had some nativity problems in Tamil version and doing those changes by shooting it in Ramoji film city now. The story of the film spans over 60 years. It is a small and beautiful film. Jagapati Babu is doing a good character in this film. It will be shot during February. We are planning to release the film on 27 March.”
