Pre-release press meet of Leader movie was held at Spirit office in Jubilee Hills on the night of 17 February. RaNa, Richa Gangopadhyay and Subbaraju attended it.

RaNa said, “I am making my debut as hero with Leader movie. Sekhar Kammula who did love stories so far tried a new genre of politics with Leader. He is an honest director and all his earlier movies vouch for it. I always wanted to make my debut with a socially relevant and responsible character. We learnt about great leaders like Gandhi, Vallabhai Patel when we kids. But no other leader attained that status in the last half century. We are trying to showcase the qualities of good leader without missing the commercial flavour and drama. We are showing that politics are to be dealt with responsibility. Though it’s a political film there is an interesting love story and political drama in it. AVM banner has a history of many decades and it introduced actors like Sivaji Ganesan and Kamal Hassan. I am feeling proud and fortunate to make my debut in such a production house.”
