A
pressmeet was held on26th Jan 2004 for Venkatesh's
latest film Malliswari (the Pricess) starring Katrina
Kaif at premises of Rama Naidu Studios. Venkatesh,
Katrina Kaif, D Suresh Babu, Vijaya Bhaskar, Trivikram
Srinivas, Koti, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Naresh, Balayya
and Rajya Lakshmi were present at the pressmeet.

Producer D Suresh Babu confirmed that the entire talkie
part of the movie is completed except for a song.
The re-recording of Malliswari would be starting from
tomorrow. Audio of Malliswari is expected in a week's
time. The audiocassettes of
Malliswari should be available in market by 1st February
2004. This film is shot in 6 schedules. Vijaya
Bhaskar and Trivikram started the script work of this
film was started on 1st June 2003 and the film went
on floors by 9th July 2003. We were desperately looking
for a fresh heroine with princess looks and fortunately
we got hold of the right girl Katrina Kaif.

Vijaya Bhaskar said that he took almost 9 months
to complete this project and its been a great pleasure
to work with Venkatesh Babu. Katrina Kaif is apt for
the role of princess. Katrina
is magnificent, attractive and beautiful in this film.
Sirivennela and Bhuvanachandra has done terrific work
in penning lyrics for this movie. Trivikram penned
extraordinary dialogues, as usual. Koti provided foot-tapping
music. Sameer Reddy did excellent work as cinematographer.
This film is a wholesome entertainer with ample commercial
values.

Trivikram revealed the basic story point of Malliswarai.
At one point of time, Malliswari
got to choose between two things called money and
peace of mind and Malliswari opts for peace of mind.
Hero Venkatesh helps her in achieving it and in the
process they fall in love.
Venkatesh
Venkatesh said that the characterization of his character
in Malliswari is terrific. He said that he enjoyed
doing the film. He professed that Malliswari
would prove a very good film for out Telugu movie
industry. He said that Katrina Kaif would attract
crowds to theaters with her looks. He likes working
with Trivikram for his one liners and quick comedy
dialogues.

Heroine Katrina Kaif said that she felt excited working
for Malliswari and had a ball during the shooting
days.
Characterizations
Kota Srinivasa Rao said that the roles he played in
Suresh Productions projects clicked in a big way.
And all the characters in this film are well connected
to the storyline. Naresh is playing elder brother
of hero. Balayya is playing grandfather of heroine
and also as the zamindar.
Venky
is playing the role of clerk in Andhra Bank
in Vizag who has been working over there for the past
7 years and residing at MVP colony. Dharmavarapu Subramanyam
is doing the role of Bank Manager. Ahuti Prasad and
Rajitha provide good humor in this film.
A
beach song in Hongkong
The team is moving to Hongkong tomorrow to shoot the
remaining song of Malliswari on the beaches of Hongkong.
This
movie is slated for the release in the month of February
2004.
