After
super success of Aparichitudu, Vikram is gearing up
for another bilingual in the form of Mazaa. Popular
Kannada prpducer Rockline Venkatesh is producing this
film. Asin is the heroine. Shafi directs Mazaa. Shooting
of this film is currently going on in Hyderabad. Producer
arranged a press meet on this eve in Hotel Taj Residency
on the night of 22nd September -
Fun
film with village backdrop - Vikram
Hero Vikram said, "The word Mazaa denotes happiness
and merriment. My earlier film Aparichitudu is a serious
message-oriented film. Mazaa is going to be fun film
set in the backdrop of a village. It is about three
thieves who come to a village after deciding the put
an end to their profession. They want to work hard
and lead a good life. Then certain problem arises
and the rest of the story is about how they solved
that problem. This film is a light action oriented
film with no heaviness in it. Shafi who directed four
blockbusters in Malayalam is directing Telugu-Tamil
bilingual for the first time. He also directed the
Malayalam original of Mazaa. Asin is a hassle-free
actress. I have known Rockline Venkatesh for years
and am feeling very happy working with him."
Diwali
release - Rockline Venkatesh
Producer Rockline Venkatesh said, "We have finished
shooting the major part of the film. We shot for 80
days so far. It was Vikram who encouraged us to shoot
so fast that we would be releasing Mazaa for Diwali.
Hero Vikram is a team player and interacts with everybody.
This film would unveil Vikram in a new dimension.
Asin is a well-behaved actress. The set work done
by Prabhakar (Virumandi & Anbe Sivan fame) is
very realistic. Vidya Sagar composed five good tunes.
Shafi is remaking his own Malayalam super hit as Mazaa.

Actress Asin said, "I am coming to Hyderabad
after a gap of few months. I am doing the character
of a village belle called Seeta Lakshmi. This film
is going to be an out and out entertainer. I am thrilled
to act with such a great actor like Vikram."
