A press meet was held to discuss the details of 'Modati Cinema' featuring Navadeep & Poonam (debut) in the direction of Kuchipudi Venkat (debut). Here are the excepts -

12th October release
Producer Kunduru Ramana Reddy said, "Modati Cinema is a love story that comes with the concept that you would never know what happens in the next moment of your life. The talkie and three songs of the film are completed. We shot this film in 48 days. We are going to Sikkim to can 3 more songs. There is sparkle in the tunes given by debutant music director Swaraj. Audio of this film would be released anywhere between 15th and 20th of this month. Modati Cinema would be releasing on 12th October on the eve of Vijaya Dasami."

Light hearted entertainer
Debutant director Kuchipudi Venkat said, "We started the shooting of the film on 10th May. This film is a light hearted entertainer made with compact screenplay. This film has all logics in place. Sameer Reddy did great work as cinematographer. Swaraj's music is going to be highlight of the film. These days, anybody can turn into a music director with digital revolution. But Swaraj belong the genre of authentic musicians with proper training. We spent around 3 crores over this film so far. By the time it releases, the budget is expected to be 3.5 crores (including publicity)."

Live orchestra
Debutant music director Swaraj said, "This is my first film and I am feeling lucky to be the part of 'Modati Cinema'. We did live orchestra for this film. I admire certain musicians who worked with the likes of Ilayaraja. And I invited all those musicians to do live orchestra to my songs. I am so much thrilled to work with the people I grew up admiring. I would like to thank director Venkat for recognizing my talent and for giving me an opportunity."

Hero Navdeep said that he is expecting 'Modati Cinema' to be his first hit film in Telugu.
