The shooting of Sri Surya Movies latest film Muddula
Koduku is almost complete barring two songs. The
movie stars A M Ratnam's youngest son Ravi Krishna
in the lead and opposite him is Gopika.
The
film unit met with the press at Ramanaidu Studios,
Nanakramguda, Hyderabad. A song shoot was in progress
at the time, the song featured Munnabhai fame Mumaith
Khan and others. Talking to the press about the movie
A M Ratnam said, "The film is almost done
except for the songs one song shooting is going right
now, there are two more songs that we are planning
to shoot in Switzerland. We are planning to release
the music of the film on June 30, and are planning
to release the film in the third week of July. The
film is a simple story that is based on a middle class
family, and how they behave."
"Director
of the film is Radha Mohan who has earlier done a
Tamil film and this film marks his entry into Telugu
film industry. The story was very impressive and I
was interested in it as soon as I heard the script.
Revathi plays a very vital role in the film, she is
the hero's mother and this character is pivotal. Prakash
Raj has contributed in more than one ways for the
film, he also plays a very important role in the film.
He is the person who has introduced the director to
us, so he is the reason today the film is being made."
"The
music of the film is by Vidyasagar who is also working
on Bangaram, and has given some great tunes for the
film. Another special feature of the film is going
to be a look that Ravi has, for that look he went
to USA and got it done. But that will be revealed
only a week before the release of the film."
Speaking
about the film director Radha Mohan said, "This
is the first time that I am doing a telugu film and
I am sure that Andhra audience will like the film.
The story of the film is about a middle class family
and their lives, that is all that I can say right
now. It has been great working with both A M Ratnam
and Ravi Krishna."
Ravi
Krishna who is doing his second telugu film after
the success of 7/G Brindavan Colony said, "I
play a simple middle class boy who is always thinking
about his family friends and life. I wouldn't compare
this role with that of 7/G, but this role is a total
contrast to that role. I play a very responsible son
in this film. I got to work with good actors like
Revathi and Prakash Raj they are actors from whom
a lot can be learnt. The special make-up is something
that we want to keep a secret till the final week
of release. But it was very hard working with that
makeup as it was really hot and I could act only for
six hours a day. The music of the film has come out
well and will definitely be liked by one and all."
The
song being shot was choreographed by Bonny Verma and
is being picturised on Mummaith Khan.
