Pokuri Babu Rao is producing Ontari with Gopichand as hero after delivering two blockbusters Yagnam and Ranam with him. BV Ramana directs this film. The unit held a press meet today to share the progress.

Pokuri Babu Rao said, “We launched the film in July 2007 and we are planning to release the film in February 2008. We are going abroad to shoot a couple of songs. The story of the film is about how villain made hero Vantari by his family and lover and how hero got them all back. This film has rich production values compared to Yagnam and Ranam. This is the highest budgeted film in our banner. We are introducing Bhavana in Telugu as heroine. Each and every character has got importance in this film. BV Ramana will be recognized with this film.”

Director BV Ramana said, “I feel that this film will get me a big break. We are aiming for a better film than Lakshyam. Eetaram films never went to abroad to shoot any songs and this is the first film from this prestigious banner to shoot abroad.”

Gopichand said that this film has all elements and emotions.

Sunil said, “I am doing the role of hero’s friend. I worked as an assistant director to Ramana in the past. The story of this film offers lot of variety. There will be three shocking twists.”
