Shooting
of Jaya's second film 'Premikulu' (but they
don't know each other) is currently going on in
the posh location of Hitex, Madapur. A song is currently
being canned on hero Yuvaraj and his friends. Around
50 models and junior artists are working for this
song. Giraffe crane - the most expensive equipment
around - is being used for canning ramping shots and
rotating shots required for this fast-beat modern
song. The unit has arranged a press meet to share
the progress of Premikulu.
Tremendous
response for title, tagline and logo design - Jaya
Director Jaya said that there is very good response
for Premikulu caption, 'but they don't know each other'
tagline and the logo design which was unveiled on
Valentines Day by MS Raju. After looking at the photo
galleries and trailers of premikulu, heroine Kamna
Jetmalani is signed by the prestigious Tamil banner
Kavithalaya for a film starring Jayam Ravi (son of
Editor Mohan). Jaya is in all praise for the hero
Yuvaraj's performance and commitment. She opined that
music director Sajan is extremely talented and gave
a highly technical and shootingly melodious output.
The song which is currently being canned is a solo
song for hero. This song is being picturized on 30
boys and 20 girls. This song takes 4 days to complete.
Latest
equipment and expensive locations
The producer is taking all precautions to make sure
that film is rich and vibrant by hiring the latest
equipment. It makes more sense as the film has the
city backdrop. Director Jaya is using the 435 ARRI
camera, 24 lens and 1200 zoom for this purpose. She
is also hiring Giraffe and touch-head cranes for canning
shots. They do charge around Rs. 30,000/- per day
to lend Giraffe crane. This crane is been used for
high profile films like Arya, Gharshana, Arjun etc
so far. For the first time, this kind of sophisticated
equipment is used for a film starring new faces. The
producer has to pay around Rs. 75,000/- per day to
obtain shooting permission in HITEX.
