The shooting part of Venkatesh starter 'Sankranthi'
is completed today. On this eve, a press meet was
arranged by the unit. Srikanth, Sangeeta, Muppalaneni
Siva, SA Raj Kumar, Balamurugan (cinematography) and
Vakada Appa Rao attended this meet.

Feb release - Muppalaneni Siva
Speaking on this occasion Muppalaneni Siva said that
they shot a song on Srikanth and Sangeeta today and
shooting gets completed today. DTS work is currently
going on. This film would be releasing on 18th February
2005. This film is coming with a caption 'Love Your
Family' and this film has the background of joint
family. Muppalaneni Siva is directing a Venkatesh
film after the stupendous success of 'Raja'. Muppalaneni
delivered two blockbusters - 'Taj Mahal' and 'Gilligajjalu'
- with Srikanth in the past. Venkatesh is playing
the character of big brother Raghavendra. Srikanth
is doing a positive role of devoted younger brother.
Sangeeta plays Srikanth's wife with negative shades.
Sneha is paired up with Venkatesh. Arti Agarwal I
going a guest glamour role.

beautiful film - SA Raj Kumar
Music director said that he can judge a film's fate
while doing the re-recording. He feels that Sankranthi
film has tremendous feel and would become a blockbuster.
Music plays vary important role in this film. Incidentally
this film is 150th film by SA Raj Kumar.

with a feel - Srikanth
Hero Srikanth said that this is his 2nd film with
Supergood banner as hero. He worked as villain in
a couple of Venkatesh's films (Abbaigaru & Kondapally
Raja). He liked the positive character of brother
in this film. He opined that Sankranthi is a film
with feel.
Clean
film - Sangeeta
Sangeeta said that she is doing a role with slight
negative shades for the first time in this film. She
felt that Sankranthi is a clean and healthy film with
no vulgarity and obscenity.
1st
Indian film to be shot in Turkey
Executive producer Vakada Appa Rao said that Sankranthi
is the first Indian film to shot in Turkey country.
He thanked Venkatesh for insisting on shooting in
Turkey. He said that Sankranthi is a film for everybody.
