K Raghavendra Rao is directing Manoj Manchu for a film in which Mohan Babu is playing a special character. Lakshmi Manchu is making her debut as full-time film producer with this movie. The press meet of this movie is held today at Rama Naidu studios. Here are the details

K Raghavendra Rao delivered envious blockbusters on our home banner: Mohan Babu
Mohan Babu said, "When I entered Telugu film industry in 1975, I thought that I would be fortunate if I could act with the great NTR even in a frame. NTR launched my home banner Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures in 1982 and our first film was Pratigna. He came with Bobbili Puri get up to the launch. I produced a film titled Major Chandrakanth with NTR in 1992 which also happens to be his last movie. I was a zero before Alludu Garu movie and K Raghavendra Rao made me stand as a commercial hero with that movie. Then he directed two more blockbusters for me in the form of Allari Mogudu and Manoj Chandrakanth. Manoj also acted as a child artist in Major Chandrakanth. Now he is acting as hero in K Raghavendra Rao's direction. I invited Bala Krishna to bless my daughter Lakshmi because she is making her debut as full time producer with this movie. Bhupati Raja pens the basic story. Gopi Mohan and BVS Ravi jointly writes story and screenplay. Rajasimha pens dialogues. We held the muhurat of this movie on 12 November. Dasari sounded the clapboard and Padma Bhushan Vara Prasad Reddy switched on the camera. We completed the shoot of a song so far. There will be 11 songs composed by MM Keeravani in this movie."

First bound script film for K Raghavendra Rao: Lakshmi Manchu
Lakshmi Manchu said, "I am blessed and honored to work with great technicians like K Raghavendra Rao, S Gopal Reddy, MM Keeravani with my first project. We worked on the script for six months. Though my name figured as producer for some movies, this is my first venture as full time producer. Raghu Kulakarni makes his debut as art director. We got hold of a beautiful girl who makes her debut in movies with this film. For the first time in the career of K Raghavendra Rao, this movie started with bound script and dialogues."

Manoj Manchu said, "I did a small role as child actor in Major Chandrakanth. I am very happy to work with the great director K Raghavendra Rao, this time as a hero. He is cool and clam on sets. MM Keeravani said,"The combination of me - Mohan Babu and K Raghavendra Rao is coming after a gap of 16 years. Our last film was Major Chandrakanth. Manoj is cute.
