Virodhi logo was launched at a function held at Film Nagar Cultural Club on 23 March. It is also the birthday of hero Srikanth. Neelakanta directed the film and Anil Meka (brother of hero Srikanth) produces it on Meka Media banner. Krishna Vamsi and Posani Krishna Murali attended this function as guests.

Krishna Vamsi launched Virodhi’s logo. Srikant cut the birthday cake.

Speaking on the occasion, Neelakanta said, “This subject has been on my mind for a long time. Now, it is relevant to the society. This film has the backdrop of Naxalism, at the same time this film is not about Naxalites. We worked as a team for this movie.”

Anil Meka said, “I feel happy to launch this logo on the birthday of Srikanth. We completed the shoot yesterday. We shot most of the movie in our-door locations and everybody has cooperated with us. There is good cinematography and music to this film. Post-production work is currently going on. This film will be released this summer.”

Srikanth said, “I started my film career with people’s encounter film which has naxalism backdrop. My brother Anil started his production career with Virodhi which also has the same backdrop. I am doing the role of an intelligent journalist. Neelakanta came up with good subject and my brother liked it. Virodhi is going to have an excellent screenplay. I worked just as an actor and my brother took care of entire production on his own without any involvement from me.”
