Press meet of Sekhar Kammula’s latest film Godavari was held at Film Chamber on the morning of 15th May. This meet was attended by Sekhar Kammula, GVG Raju and Sumanth.

Godavari premiere on IMAX screen
The premiere show of Godavari will be screened on IMAX screen of Prasads multiplex at 9 am on 19th of May. Director Sekhar Kammula preferred IMAX screen because the cinematographer exploited the landscapes, scenery and locales of Godavari beautifully. This red-carpet premiere will be attended by the media, film celebrities and 300 people from common audience section.

Clean U certificate for Godavari
Godavari obtained clean U certificate from AP Film Censoring Board, which means that this film could be viewed by entire family without going through any uncomfortable moments. Godavari is the only summer big film which is releasing with U certificate as majority of other summer releases are given A certificate.

Movie screened for feedback
The double positive of Godavari film was screened to the people who are not related to Godavari film. And all of them liked it tremendously. This double positive does not have rerecording and sound mixing. With proper RR and mixing, Godavari is expected to be a treat not only for the eyes but also to the ears.

A landmark film
Director Sekhar Kammula feels that Godavari film is going to be a landmark film in Telugu film industry. This kind of film would be released once in 3-4 years, he added.
