Star hero Suriya is starring in the prestigious film Kanguva, a massive period action movie directed by Siva. Disha Patani and Bobby Deol play key roles in the film, which is being produced by KE Gnanavel Raja, Vamsi, and Pramod under the banners of renowned production houses Studio Green and UV Creations with a large budget. The movie will be distributed by Mythri Movie Distributors in the Nizam area. Kanguva is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on the 14th of this month. The pre-release event of Kanguva was held today in Hyderabad, with Director SS Rajamouli as the chief guest.

At the event, Writer Rakendu Mouli said:
"I would like to thank all the elders who attended the Kanguva pre-release event. I wrote three songs and the dialogues for this film. I felt honored to see my name on the screen alongside Suriya garu. The scenes in Kanguva are incredible. Hats off to Director Siva garu for making such a film with such a grand vision. Director SS Rajamouli said, "Suriya is the hero who inspired me to take Telugu cinema to other regions, beyond the Telugu states. During the Ghajini era, I would tell my producers and heroes about Suriya's efforts to promote his films in Telugu and reach out to the Telugu audience as a case study. I would tell them that if Surya could win the love of the Telugu people, we should also work towards winning the love of the Tamil people and audiences from other states. Suriya inspired me to pursue Pan-India films. Suriya and I had wanted to collaborate on a film in the past, but it didn't materialize. Surya mentioned at a function that he regretted not working with me, but I too regret not having the opportunity to work with him. I truly admire Suriya's acting and on-screen presence. He is someone who chooses stories and embarks on a journey more than any filmmaker. I respect his decisions.

Filming in great locations is challenging. Taking the entire crew to a location or shooting in a large studio is difficult in itself. But Kanguva was shot in very rare locations, and the sets were designed in many unique places. The hard work put in by the team is clearly visible in the making video. డైరెక్టర్ బోయపాటి శ్రీను మాట్లాడుతూ - సూర్య గారు ప్రతి తెలుగింటి కుటుంబ సభ్యుడు అయ్యారు. ఆయన చేసిన ప్రతి సినిమా స్ట్రైట్ తెలుగు సినిమానే. ఈరోజు భాషా బేధాలు సినిమాకు లేవు. సూర్య గారు నటిస్తే ఆ క్యారెక్టర్ పండుతుంది. ఇలాంటి సినిమా చేసేందుకు అభిరుచి గల ప్రొడ్యూసర్ కావాలి. జ్ఞానవేల్ గారికి ఆ టేస్ట్ ఉంది. మేకింగ్ చూస్తుంటే శివ గారు ఎంత శ్రమించారో తెలుస్తుంది. ఈ సీజన్ లో వచ్చిన మన సినిమాలు మంచి విజయాలు సాధిస్తున్నాయి. ఈ నెల 14న రిలీజ్ అయ్యే కంగువతో కొత్త సీజన్ మొదలుకావాలి. ప్రతి తెలుగు సినిమా గెలవాలి. ఆల్ ది బెస్ట్ టు కంగువ టీమ్. అన్నారు.

హీరో సూర్య మాట్లాడుతూ - ఈ రోజు మా కంగువ ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ కు వచ్చిన రాజమౌళి గారికి, సురేష్ బాబు, అల్లు అరవింద్ గారు, బోయపాటి శ్రీను గారు, సిద్ధు, విశ్వక్ ..ఇలా ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ థ్యాంక్స్. ఈ పెద్దలంతా తమ బిజీ షెడ్యూల్స్ లో మాకోసం టైమ్ కేటాయించి మమ్మల్ని బ్లెస్ చేయడం సంతోషంగా ఉంది. రాజమౌళి గారు మా అందరికీ ఒక గొప్ప దారి చూపించారు. మేము ఆ దారిలో ప్రయాణిస్తున్నాం. రాజమౌళి గారి ఏ సినిమాతో మా కంగువను పోల్చలేము. ఆయనను ఆయన సినిమాలను చూసి ఇన్స్ పైర్ అవుతుంటాం. నేను ఒకసారి రాజమౌళి గారితో సినిమా చేసే అవకాశం మిస్ చేసుకున్నాను. కానీ ఇప్పటికీ ఆ అవకాశం కోసం వేచి చూస్తున్నాను. మన కుటుంబంలో పెద్ద అన్న సక్సెస్ అయితే మిగతా వారికి ఆ స్ఫూర్తి అందుతుంది. అలా రాజమౌళి గారు సాధించిన విజయాలతో మేము స్ఫూర్తి పొందాం. జ్ఞానవేల్ రాజా ఫోన్ లో రాజమౌళి గారి ఫొటో స్క్రీన్ సేవర్ గా ఉంటుంది. ఆయనకు రాజమౌళి గారి బ్లెస్సింగ్స్ ఉండాలి. నా దర్శక నిర్మాతలు, అభిమానులు, సినిమాను ప్రేమించే ప్రేక్షకుల వల్లే ఈ వేదిక మీద ఉండగలిగాను. కంగువ నాకు మర్చిపోలేని అనుభూతి ఇచ్చిన సినిమా. ఈ సినిమా కోసం రెండేళ్లు కష్టపడ్డా. నా స్నేహితులు ప్రభాస్, రానా, అనుష్కను బాహుబలి గురించి మాట్లాడేప్పుడు రెండేళ్లు ఎలా డేట్స్ ఇచ్చారని అడిగేవాడిని. ప్రతిరోజూ ఎగ్జైటింగ్ గా వర్క్ చేశాం. రాజమౌళి గారి వల్ల ఆ ఎంకరేజ్ మెంట్ వచ్చేది అని చెప్పారు. కంగువ సెట్ లో శివ వర్క్ చూసి నాకూ అలాంటి ఎంకరేజ్ మెంట్ దక్కింది. ప్రతిరోజూ మూడు వేల మంది సెట్ లో పనిచేసేవారు. ముగ్గురు నలుగురు అసిస్టెంట్ డైరెక్టర్స్ తో శివ వీళ్లందరితో వర్క్ చేయించుకునేవారు. కంగువలో నటించాక నేను వ్యక్తిగతంగా మరింత పరిణితి చెందాను. కంగువ వంటి స్పెషల్ మూవీ మాకు ఇచ్చినందుకు శివకు థ్యాంక్స్ చెబుతున్నా. ఇది ఎవర్ గ్రీన్ సినిమాగా మీ మనసుల్లో నిలిచిపోతుందని నమ్ముతున్నాను. కంగువలో ఎన్నో సర్ ప్రైజ్ లు ఉన్నాయి. ఈ నెల 14న థియేటర్స్ లో మరో దీపావళిని సెలబ్రేట్ చేసుకుందాం. మీ ఆశీస్సులు, ప్రేమ ఎల్లప్పుడూ కావాలి. అన్నారు.
