Pochampally IKAT art mela kick starts
Inaugurated by Fashion Designer, Former Mrs India Shilpa Reddy at Banjara Hills

Shilpa Reddy –Fashion designer and Former Mrs India, Formally Inaugurated Pochampally Ikat art mela 2015 at Kalinga Cultural Hall, Road no 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Mela will be on till 2nd august, which is organized by Pochampally Handloom Park.

Shilpa Reddy Said on the occasion, “Plat forms such as this are required to reach out women looking for well-designed IKAT handmade cotton, silk wear, home textile, which can see the blend of different style and concept of handloom Products creations coming together under one roof.

“Handlooms are part of an age old Indian tradition- element of Indian culture and rich artistry. By promoting handlooms, we support the artisans and local community who have been passing on their skills for generations. Promoting creativity and originality, each design is a result of individual artisans”Said Devender Chairman-Pochampally Handloom Park, and Director Lav Kumar.
