In his more than decade-old career, Vishal Chandrashekhar has been associated with only a handful of Telugu movies. While his collaborations with Hanu Raghavapudi have always been fruitful, it was the same maker’s Sita Ramam that gave Vishal a new lease of life. No wonder, he is one of the most sought-after composer’s right now.
While Hanu is repeating the Chennai-based composer again for his next, a period drama, with rebel star Prabhas, Vishal has also #Sharwa37 with Samajavaragamana helmer Ram Abbaraju in his kitty. Now, we’ve learnt that he has landed another major project. Sources tell us that he is on board Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Aakasam Lo Oka Tara (ALOT), which is a Pavan Sadineni directorial. “ALOT has a lot of significance for music and the makers felt that Vishal was the right man to breathe life into it with his background score and tunes. The composer boarded the project immediately after listening to the story. Also, the decision was a complete no-brainer because the project boasts of names like Allu Aravind, Swapna Dutt and Sandeep Gunnam,” reveals a source.
ALOT, which is presently in pre-production, will go to floors in the second half of next month. A significant chunk of it will be shot in Hyderabad while some portions require the unit to visit a rural setting.
