Leading director SS Rajamouli unveiled the teaser of Aho Vikramaarka, headlined by Dev Gill, at an event in Hyderabad on Thursday and it promises to be an action extravaganza.
A little over one minute, the teaser opens with the land of Asura where injustice, violence and atrocities are prevalent, with Kalakeya Prabhakar playing a vile man who takes lives just like that. Enter Dev, a daring cop who leaps into the air to get hold of a wooden sword from Chatrapati Shivaji statue to beat the hell out of goons. He believes that a cop is not a lion but a hunter who hunts a lion. The rest of the teaser is filled with adrenaline-packed action shots as Dev takes on anyone who troubles the public. How he ends up in Asura and takes on evil forces there seems to form the crux of the story.
Dotted with action, action and more action, the teaser promises to be a high-octane action spectacle with a super fit Dev, in a clear departure from his villainous outings, kicking, punching and shooting like a man on a mission. Ravi Basrur’s racy background score complements the theme of the movie, while the production values are rich.
Directed by Peta Trikoti, Aho Vikramaarka, also featuring Tejaswini Pandit, Chitra Shukla, Praveen Tarde, Posani Krishna Murali and Bitthiri Satthi, is presently in post-production. Aarti Devinder Gill, Mihir Kulkarni and Ashwini Kumar Mishra are the producers.
