While icon star Allu Arjun’s film with Trivikram Srinivas might have been pushed towards the end of this year or maybe next year, it is clear that it will have a mythological touch. In a latest interaction as part of Mad Square promotions, producer S Naga Vamsi confirmed that Arjun-Trivikram film is indeed a mythological affair. “The whole of India will be surprised with the kind of span the film has,” the producer said.

He clarified that the untitled film will not have characters from The Ramayana or The Mahabharata. “It will be a different mythological film. People have heard about this God (about the leading role in the film) but they have no idea about what happened in his life. We are going to show that and all on a huge scale,” Naga Vamsi pointed out.

The young producer also revealed that the film industry is going through hard times. “It’s not a good time to make movies. We are in a bad space right now. The next few years, it will be a bloodbath. Hopefully everybody comes out of it happily.”

Elucidating on his ‘bloodbath’ term, he added, “The number of films is increasing, while the OTT platforms have limitations when it comes to purchases. At the same time, people are not interested in watching every kind of film in a theatre. We don’t know what kind of films they like. They are clever and they decide on what kind of film they want to watch. So with that kind of confusion happening everywhere and competition for festival releases, the problem is huge.”
