More than a couple of months after the release of his festival blockbuster release, Sankranthiki Vastunnam, with victory Venkatesh, Anil Ravipudi had gone to his favourite place–Vizag– to participate in story discussions of his next with megastar Chiranjeevi and guess what, he has now even narrated the entire script as well to the megastar.
Taking to X on Wednesday, the hugely successful director wrote that the final narration is complete and that they are gearing to officially launch the film. “Final script narration done & locked. I’ve introduced my character Shankara Varaprasad to Chiranjeevi garu. He loved and enjoyed it thoroughly. So why wait? The Chiru festival film which will offer plenty of laughs will have a muhurat soon,” he stated.
While Ravipudi refrained from mentioning the date, the untitled film, a joint production venture between Sahu Garapati’s Shine Screens and Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments, will be launched on March 30 on account of Telugu New Year Ugadi. Bheems Ceciroleo is attached to compose music for the film, which will release for Sankranti next year.
With his films not lasting more than six months on production, shooting within the budget and delivering grossers like Sankranthiki Vastunnam, Ravipudi is certainly a producer’s dream.
