The makers of Committee Kurrollu, headlined by a slew of fresh faces, dropped the teaser on Friday and we must say it screams fun from miles away.

Playing out over one minute and forty seconds, the teaser opens with a group of kids playing cricket in the picturesque Konaseema , while a voiceover says, ‘The childhood was memorable, right? There was no burden or responsibility’. It later cuts to the kids gorging on an idli from the same plate from an idli stall and bathing collectively under a water pump. The kids continue to remain friends in their teenage years as well as they now collectively enjoy India winning cricket matches and playfully teasing their class girls. We also get to see flashes of Sai Kumar and Goparaju Ramana, both of whom seem to be playing respected elders in the village. Cut to the voiceover again as he adds, ‘The joy of childhood won’t last at adolescence, right?’ The group is now shown engaging in petty fights in their village while the director reserves the main conflict– may be for the trailer.

Overall, the teaser encapsulates the unforgettable days of childhood and early teens to perfection, taking you back on a nostalgic ride. The teaser is laced with sparkle, college spirit and the gags land, promising a no-holds barred entertainer. Director Yadhu Vamsi ensures that his actors are natural, while for a small film; the production values look absolutely rich, thanks to the camerawork of Raju Edurolu.
