Coolie is performing exceptionally well at the box office. Starring superstar Rajinikanth in the lead and one of Telugu cinema’s top stars, Nagarjuna, as the antagonist, the film also features Aamir Khan, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj in key roles.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, with music by Anirudh Ravichander adding another major highlight, ‘Coolie’ has been attracting attention since its announcement, and its collections are racing towards record-breaking numbers.
According to an official announcement from the production house Sun Pictures, ‘Coolie’ grossed ₹404 crores worldwide within the first four days of release, thereby becoming the highest-grossing Tamil film in its opening four days.
Coolie also had a phenomenal start in North America, collecting over $6.1 million in its opening weekend, with the Telugu version alone contributing $1.71 million. The film has already recovered nearly 80% of its investment in the American market.
The film released worldwide on the 14th of this month, clashing with another massive release, War 2.

'కూలీ' బాక్సాఫీస్ దగ్గర అంచనాలకు తగ్గట్టే కలక్షన్లు రాబట్టుకుంటోంది. అగ్ర నటుడు రజినీకాంత్ హీరోగా, తెలుగు అగ్ర హీరోల్లో ఒకరైన నాగార్జున ప్రతి నాయకుడు పాత్రలో నటించగా, అమీర్ ఖాన్, ఉపేంద్ర, శృతిహాసన్, సౌబిన్ షాహిర్ మరియు సత్యరాజ్ ఈ సినిమాల్లో కీలక పాత్రల్లో నటించారు.

'కూలీ' సినిమా మొదటి నాలుగు రోజుల్లో 404 కోట్ల గ్రాస్ కలక్షన్లు కొల్లగొట్టిందని, ఆ సినిమా నిర్మాణ సంస్థ 'సన్ పిక్చర్స్' అధికారిక ప్రకటన చేసింది. దీంతో మొదటి నాలుగో రోజుల్లో అత్యధిక వసూళ్లు చేసిన తమిళ సినిమాగా తమిళ చిత్రసీమలో 'కూలీ' తన పేరును నమోదుచేసుకుంది.
కూలీ అద్భుతమైన ప్రారంభాన్ని సాధించి, ఉత్తర అమెరికాలో కూడా భారీ కలెక్షన్లు రాబట్టింది. మొదటి వీకెండ్‌లోనే $6.1 మిలియన్‌ డాలర్లను వసూలు చేసింది. అందులో తెలుగు వెర్షన్‌ మాత్రమే $1.71 మిలియన్‌ వసూలు చేసింది. ఇప్పటికే అమెరికా మార్కెట్‌లో పెట్టుబడి యొక్క దాదాపు 80% తిరిగి పొందింది.”
