The trailer of Court - State Vs A Nobody was unveiled at an event in Hyderabad on Friday and it promises to be a no holds barred courtroom drama that deals with a young boy who is in remand over false charges.

Three minutes in duration, the trailer opens with police arresting Chandoo (Harsh Roshan), a brand promoter. His crime? To be in love with an affluent man’s (Sivaji) daughter (Sridevi). With the help of his lawyer (played by Harsh Vardhan) Sivaji manages to file multiple cases against Chandoo, including the deadly The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO). The representatives of Chandoo knock the doors of various lawyers to help them but to no avail. Chandoo’s parents plead with Sivaji to not spoil their son’s life but he is having none of it. Surya Teja (Priyadarshi), a junior lawyer, working under a senior lawyer (Sai Kumar) is moved by the injustice meted out to Chandoo when he learns that the latter has been in remand for over two months. Sai Kumar is not interested to take up the case, while Surya Teja is, as he believes he can handle it. Will he manage to win the case or not seems to form the crux of the story.

In conclusion, the trailer is spellbinding and seems to delve into the intricacies of the legal system, while promising to captive audiences with its blend of drama and suspense. As a man determined to redeem a wrongfully convicted young lad, the trailer hints at the uphill battle that Surya Teja faces in his pursuit of justice, encountering various hurdles along the way. And the actor simply aces his part. The helplessness of Chandoo’s representatives is aptly portrayed by the debutant director Ram Jagadeesh. And not just Priyadarshi, Ram seems to have written strong supporting roles for the likes of Sivaji, Sai Kumar, Rohini and Harsh Vardhan and so on.

Presented by Natural star Nani on Wall Poster Cinema and produced by Prashanti Tipirneni, Court is slated to arrive in cinemas on March 14.
