The glimpse of Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur-fronted Dacoit was dropped on Monday and it’s a full-on action-packed showdown between the lead faces, setting the stage for an explosive high-octane action drama.

A little under a minute, the glimpse opens with a close-up of a concerned Juliet’s (played by Mrunal) eyes while a character played by Sesh says in the background, “Whatever happened to you is not a small thing Juliet. Everyone has betrayed you but I’m not here to do that. I’m here to destroy you,” he states with a wry laugh, indicating that he has old scores to settle with Juliet, who is his ex. In between, we also see a glimpse of fierce Anurag Kashyap in what is his Telugu debut. Sesh seems to be playing a convict who is street smart. The glimpse concludes with a speeding passenger train colliding with a prison van at a railway crossing before it cuts to a time when Sesh and Mrunal were partners on missions together.

Summing up, the glimpse cranks up the intensity from the first frame and holds your attention until the last with its flawed characters, drama and adrenaline-pumping action. Sharply cut, it discloses only so much that instills further curiosity within viewers. The fusion of crime and action is seamless while Sesh and Mrunal is a match made in heaven. Mrunal’s character seems to be carrying an emotional baggage here, while Sesh is hell-bent on taking her down. Anurag’s screen presence is strong, while the background score oscillates between different moods to create an atmosphere that is so much in tune with the film’s varied themes.

Also featuring Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan and Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Dacoit, which marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Shaneil Deo, is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda. A Bheems musical, the film’s screenplay is a joint effort between Sesh and Shaneil. It opens in cinemas this December 25th.

అడివి శేష్ హైలీ యాంటిసిపేటెడ్ పాన్-ఇండియన్ థ్రిల్లర్ డకాయిట్ ఫైర్ గ్లింప్స్ తెలుగ, హిందీలో రిలీజ్ అయ్యింది. ఇంటెన్స్ యాక్షన్, స్టైలిష్‌ విజువల్స్ తో ఫైర్ గ్లింప్స్ అదిరిపోయింది.

శేష్, మృణాల్ ఠాకూర్ మధ్య ఉద్రిక్త క్షణంలో గ్లింప్స్ ప్రారంభమౌతోంది. సానుభూతితో నిండిన వాయిస్ లో శేష్ ఆమెను "జూలియట్" అని పిలుస్తాడు, అందరూ ఆమెకు అన్యాయం చేశారని చెబుతాడు. కానీ వెంటనే అతని వాయిస్ మారుతుంది. నేను నిన్ను మోసగించడానికి రాలేదు, అంతకంటే ఎక్కువ చేస్తా అని మిస్టీరియస్ స్మైల్ తో శేష్ చెప్పే డైలాగ్ అదిరిపోయింది.

నెక్స్ట్ ఎపిసోడ్, ఖైదీ యూనిఫాం లో జైలు వ్యాన్ లో వున్న శేష్ కూల్ గా తన నోటి నుండి ఒక కీని బయటకు తెస్తాడు. తర్వాత ఓ రైలు వ్యాన్ మీదుగా దూసుకెళ్తుంది. చివరి సన్నివేశంలో, మృణాల్ అతని పక్కన కూర్చుంటుంది, శేష్ ఫైరింగ్ చేస్తాడు. ప్రేమ, ప్రతీకారం, మోసంతో నిండిన ఓ గొప్ప కథకు ఇది నాంది.

విజువల్ గా డకాయిట్ ఫైర్ గ్లింప్స్ కొత్త బెంచ్‌మార్క్‌ను సెట్ చేసింది. అడివి శేష్ ఇంటెన్స్ అండ్ రగ్గడ్ పాత్ర కోసం పూర్తిగా మేకోవర్ అయ్యారు. మదనపల్లె యాసలో అదరగొట్టాడు. అతని వాయిస్ మాడ్యులేషన్, ఎక్స్ ప్రెషన్స్ అద్భుతంగా వున్నాయి. హిందీ వెర్షన్‌కు కూడా తనే డబ్బింగ్ చెప్పారు. అది అద్భుతంగా వచ్చింది.

మృణాల్ ఠాకూర్ స్ట్రాంగ్ క్యారెక్టర్ లో కనిపించింది. ఆమె పాత్ర వెనక కథ చాలా ఆసక్తి కలిగిస్తుంది. అనురాగ్ కశ్యప్ ప్రజెన్స్ ఇంపాక్ట్ ఫుల్ గా వుంది.

దర్శకుడు షానియల్ డియో విజువల్ ప్రజెంటేషన్ అదరగొట్టాడు. టీజర్ సినిమా స్కేల్ ఎంత బిగ్గర్ గా వుంటుందో తెలియజేసింది. భీమ్స్ సిసిరోలియో నేపథ్య సంగీతం ఎమోషన్ ని మరింత ఎలివేట్ చేసింది.

సుప్రియా యార్లగడ్డ నిర్మాతగా, అన్నపూర్ణ స్టూడియోస్ సమర్పణలో సునీల్ నారంగ్ సహ నిర్మాతగా వ్యవహరించిన డకాయిట్ గొప్ప థియేటర్ ఎక్స్ పీరియన్స్ అందించబోతోందని 'ఫైర్' గ్లింప్స్ ప్రామిస్ చేస్తోంది.

ఈ చిత్రం ఈ క్రిస్మస్, డిసెంబర్ 25న గ్రాండ్ థియేట్రికల్ విడుదల కానుంది. ఈ హాలిడే బాక్సాఫీస్‌ ను షేక్ చేస్తొందని చెప్పడం ఎలాంటి సందేహం లేదు. శేష్‌కు ఇది తొలి హాలిడే రిలీజ్ కావడం విశేషం.
